Yeah.. a few people mentioned that to me already. At the store they were labeled elegance... I dk. I've seen quite a few frogspawn, and they all look slightly differnt than mine.

Ah well.. I guess its a frogspawn.

Maybe I'll get an Australlian elegance :)

Update finally!!!

Alright well a quick description of the EVENTS that the tank has endured..

Biggest problem I faced.. Bryopsis

How did I defeat it?

With difficulties.

Kent Tech M (Kent's magnesium supplement)

From what I've heard it actually sucks as a mag. supplement, but has some "unknown" ingredient that decimates bryopsis' livelyhood.

Anyway...

Here are some pics of the epic battle.. err.. before and after pics I guess?

img0579w.jpg

img0583xw.jpg

Bryopsis was defeated with Kent Tech M and MASSIVE manual removal. Just set my self up a little work station, and picked away at coral, live rock, frag plugs as much as I could.

With the keep up of addition of Tech M, and manual removal I defeated bryopsis.

But stupid stupid me, did all this mag. dosing without a mag. test kit!! I know.. I'm crazy...

And my stupidity bit me in the butt..

All corals amazingly survived without the slightest hint of bleaching. However my cleaner shrimp and one of my Ocelaris couldn't take my mag. dosing and died on me:smash:

It was quite gruesome.. my Emerald crab DEVOURED the Ocelaris..

When I came home from work.. the crab was holding the clownfish with one claw and using the other claw to rip off nice chunks of meat.

I let him enjoy his meal... day later there was not one single shred of that clownfish left.

And a few days later.. the cleaner started acting very weird.. He came out from his cave which he normally hang upsidedown.. and was just crawling about the sand, with sudden moments of jumping and doing backflips and constantly cleaning his antennae.

The next day I came home to this...

img0676kr.jpg

That emerald crab... can EAT!

Despite my losses... of both livestock and bryopsis (meeeeh)..

My tank has been doing quite well.. at least I think so. I'll let the pics do the talking..

Some Zoas.. and especially mushroom in my tank have started to bud and multiply like crazy...

It is slightly damaged, but hey.. it got me discount.. haha.
img0723sr.jpg

And my other new favorite corals, (doesn't look like it) BRIGHT ORANGE plate coral!
img0722vj.jpg

This is before he was fully acclimated to my tank... because the next day he spread out a good 2-3 inches in every direction, and pushed up against the glass, so I had to my green brain and put it up on top of some LR, because the plate needed ALOT more room.

You can see how much my red mushroom started growing in back of the plate..

And well.. thats pretty much it for now.

I have way too many coral... I need to get my 46g Bow.. up soon.... uy..

All comments/advice are accepted.

Please don't be too harsh.. after all.. I still am a newb!! Haha...

Well.. after about 3 weeks, my beloved orange platecoral decided to bleach.

I can't really tell what the problem was... everything else in the tank is absolutely fine.

Either my emerald crab walked over it at night and stressed the s### out of it... err I dunno.

My water param. seem within normal limits, from what my tank is normally at..

0 ammonia
0 nitrites
.5 nitrates
8 pH

Definitely really pissed off.

Little by little every day more tissue disappears..

Oh well.. this is the first, what I consider to be a "major coral" in my tank that I have lost. And come to think of it only the 2nd coral I have EVER lost so far..

Not too bad for a newb...... I guess.

Update here.. finally.

Some crappy photography (on my part)...

Just a massive reaquascape.... that is kind of pointless now that I'm upgrading this 6g NC to a 20g long w/ sump, LED lighting.. and the works.. haha.

So expect to see it with stand on a marketplace near you!
