Kiwi & Alex's 60 Gallon Cube Tank Thread

Hey everyone... since we got a new tank and never really had a tank thread we decided to make one to show its progress. We previously had a 46 bow that we ended up selling since we had too many tanks but we couldnt live without a personal tank so we upgraded. The tank is a marineland 60 gallon cube RR on a marineland stand. Sump is made by Jeff(Custom King) 25 gallons. We are running a 250 watt Ice cap fixture and ballast with a SPS 20k bulb. I made a small manifold to feed the phosban reactor and a extra output incase we wanted to add something else. The return pump is a mag 9 and we also have added flow with a Vortech MP20. Tank is running and awaiting its cycle. Rockwork was done by Kiwi and I did the plumbing.... Here are the pics! :goldfish2

Is the plumbing on the marineland normally like that through the back? I would have thought the durso would have been in the overflow instead of behind the bank.

Thanks for the compliments so far guys... Its going to be a mixed reef.

Ming it kinda sucks and i had no choice but to do the plumbing the way i did. The overflow box is so skinny that the only option is to drill the back wall. That is what they did from the factory. Its kinda durso style. It already had a air breather too but i didnt want to take any chances with noise so I installed another air breather as shown in the pics. It is super quiet! Kiwi even asked if the tank was on since it wasnt making any noise! :lol2:
