Hey MR!
I was very pleased to find this site a few months ago when I started doing research for my tank. My tank has been up for a few months now. Soon after getting ro/di system set up and live sand in my tank, I had my first experience meeting someone on MR to pick up some live rock. I couldn't have been more pleased and my tank is now thriving. Here is my setup:
Hardware
-biocube 14 and standard stand for it
- maxi jet 900 ( I use the standard one for mixing salt now)
- hydro flo deflector ( doesn't fit with the standard attachments so it's sitting in the cabinet waiting for a diy project)
- 3.6 led upgrade from nano tuners ( waiting on their new in house LEDs they are making to upgrade the power and make my tank more blue ) + mean well driver and digital aquatics controller to have slow sunrise sunset instead of the hard on/off
-2 copepod cultures in shoebox sized plastic bins ( soon to be complete with 'reef pods'
- heater
- intank media rack
- intank fish saver guard thing
Test equipment
-API saltwater and reef kits
-refractometer
- salifert calcium, magnesium, kh, and nitrate
- thermometers
- ordering a ph and temp reader soon
Filtration
- filter floss (blue/ white)
-purijel
- chemi pure elite
- live rock and sand
Livestock
-2 baby s'more (black ice) clowns
-mandarin dragonett
-blood red fire shrimp
-many snails- ceriths,bumblebee, magarita, more types I cant remember ATM
-2 blue leg hermits
-1 red leg hermit ( was a supposed to be a blue leg heh)
- many hitchhikers that I'll list later
- harlequin shrimp temporarily to take care of my astea star population boom
