My 90gal reef...dial up beware...

I thought I would share some photos of my system. It's been up and running well over ten years..it slowly progressed from a FOWLR( undergravel filter with CC) to softies with PCs then with LSP and 175MHs to now with alittle bit of everything with 250MHs and a DSB to BB..

yeah very nice setup and its a smaller tank and that looks great. Makes me think I should of stayed w/ my 55 lol. On a side note your sump, does it have any baffles ? I have the same type and I'm not sure how to set them up because it has those three ridges down it.

thanks everyone for the nice comments and the welcome.... long time lurker and I finally joined

Po-Vegas Reefer.....I run purigen in there....with the small grain size it provides the right flow

Stevo32..on my sump the only baffle I have is around the bulkhead with some plastic gutter guard screening around the top.

NYPDFrogman....yea it's same one...had it for years. It was thin and pale when I first got it and took me about six months to get into shape.

House.......those are candy canes and they well down low and in the shade. I'll keep you in mind.

Noddleman........it's well over seven years old and started as a two headed frag and if I didn't frag it over the years it would be literally bigger than the tank.. I just sold 1/4 of it.

Mike what pump are you using for your skimmer?

Rich don't laugh.......Mag18. I know it would perform better with an external preasure rated pump like your Pan World, but it does work well. I skim wet and it produces about3/4 gal a day of skimate.

Mike it's still looks like its doing a great job. Your tank looks nutrient starved so thats all that matters. I have almost 20 fish so I need all the power I can get
