The right side container is 55 gal for fresh Rodi/top off, the brute is for saltwater. The top off pump is a BRS top off pump, the water change pump is a panworld 100 px-x. With the turn of 2 valves I can do a 30 gal water change.

Initially when I was looking to order that container, everywhere I looked wanted more to ship it than the container itself costs, like $129 to ship. I ended up buying it from ruralking.com for $89 with free shipping. When I went to buy a second one from them I guess they realized their mistake and wanted $89+ $150 shipping, thats when I decided a brute can would work just as good.

I'll try my best to explain it:
The white container is hooked to my rodi with a float valve so it fills with fresh water. I then move water to the brute can by turning the green and yellow valves and turning the pump on. When its filled I close those valves and add salt, let it circulate. When I want to change water, I open a valve on my manifold by the sump and that drains it. I open red valve and blue valve and turn on the pump to fill the sump back up. Purple valve is just if I need to fill a bucket or drain one of the containers or something.

Is great seeing your plumbing for the water storage. Am in the process of plumbing the two tanks that I bought from the tank depot which are similar just blue in color. Their shipping was much cheaper which is why I went with them and also bought a 112 gallon square tank to use as my sump. I am planning the same type of pump arrangement although have mine plumbed into the second storage tank to stir and mix the salt water. I had not thought about a valve for filling a bucket, so am glad that you shared your design.

Thank you Allen, I have it plumbed so I can use the pump to circulate saltwater in the brute however I didnt add an inlet on the fresh container since I don't believe I will ever have a need to move saltwater from the brute to the white tank. If you need any help feel free to PM me.
