Figured I'd post a few pics of Jake's new tank...he's upgrading from a 120g to a 180g. He's been looking for a new tank lately, so when Rick (NYreefNoob) and I ran across a complete 180g tank for sale in Ct., we ran up and put a deposit on it for him. Took a week to pick it up, and a week to clean and re-plumb it...we brought it into his living room Sunday, and added water and rocks on Monday and Tuesday...
He wanted a minimum of rock work, so the basic aquascape was built with only 20 rocks...
so here is day 1 and 2

Is Jake going to be coming along at some point and talking about the tank? :)
he better ! I think finding the tank, making the deal, driving to New Haven 3x to remove tank/livestock, helping rearrange living room/installing tank, doing rockwork, taking pics, and starting thread was my fair share!

I just found out about this thread so I figured I better comment....Yes mr albano had alot of work and time invested in this entire transformation. He was working long hard hours.I could not have done it alone. Many thanks to him.I will get more pics soon as it is clearing more and more every day.Next is more livestock and corals then basement sump.Seems to never end but that was known long beforehand.Dont know anyone(done)with reef setup, always changing something. Thanks again for your comments and also many thanks to albano aka alfie
