well i started doing water changes after the first month .. I've done it twice so far..every 2 weeks

oh! i thought it was something wrong with my water... i have a 20g long hood with a Fluorescent t8 bullb...i think thats good lighting for it..isnt it?

the 20 long is your sump/fuge

my refugium is about 24 in wide and 16 Long

that was before i put the hood but the light is on top of the refugium now

could it not also mean, the lighting isn't proper?

You don't need crazy lighting over the fuge, just a simple 6500k pc bulb. 40-60 watts.

As long as the bulbs are 6500k, then you are good to go. If you only have chaeto do a reverse cycle with the light, this will keep your ph levels stable.

i know thats the only one that is missing a clamp..i been trying to buy one but i been really busy..tomorrow ill do it since i have to buy a power head also

try to get plastic, if not stainless steel

Yeah their a little hard to find, but never have to worry about rusting.

Nothing yet, just do your water changes till you start keeping more coral, your testing for alk, cal, mag. this will tell you when you are ready.

You can use some good Wire-Ties/Tie-Wraps.
