So just wanted to share pics of my 170 DT and my new sump set up in my laundry room. I used to have a 55 gallon that had a 20 gallon filled with bio balls. Now I decided to get with the times and rid the bio balls & set up a refugium. So I got rid of the whole sump & replaced it with a 75 gallon and a 30 gallon fuge that gravity feeds the sump. In the process of establishing the fuge. Thanks to about 8 MR members I got stuff from live rock to live stock to equip. I'm still tweaking the system (but aight we all?). This week i'm adding a ATO with 2 separate tanks.

Just put this reef octopus in the sump yesterday right out of the box and the beast is already skimming.

And ran a sub panel just dedicated to the tank. I even put a disconnect switch that is overkill but for $18 and left over wire what the heck it looks cool. Lol
