Yeah this hobby is an expensive one but there are was to try not to waste money. If you have any doubts about something just ask a question here. There are pleanty of peeps on this site that have been thru it already. Its always nice to learn from someone elses mistake

ok so i took the advise ...so i went to home to check some stuff out wentto the wood section and there was a guy buyin preasure treated and the guy that works there was sayin the same stuff u guys were sayin . so i now got some new wood and now lets start fresh

Ok, I'm lost. I made my stand out off 3/4 plywood and 4/5 x 3 and 2 x 3. All are in structure to the tank., the 3/4 ply is the cabinet, the 4/5 selected pine, and the 2x3 is the second class, don't know if that makes sense, but do i have to worry about the bending thing. PM me, don't know how to post pics. Oh 90g.

If you use pressure treated wood it warps when it drys. The last thing you want is your tank sitting on a stand that moves cause your tank will move with it which will cause a leak. All wood shrinks and swells. You want to use wood that is the most stable
