get yourself an acrylic fish trap .. they go for about 20 bucks. Put the trap in your tank so the fish can get accustom to it and don't feed them for a couple of days. After a couple of days put some food in the trap. Once the fish go in close the door behind them.

no need to drain...I can get all types of fish in my tank by using this method....a clear glass vase with a narrowing neck. Let it stay in the tank for a few days until they are use to it then place food in side. I use mysis because it will float around in there so they can see it...and it may take awhile for them to find the opening...just be there to pull it out. I recently caught my PBT, a 6 line and a few damsels this way...let any other fish swim back out.

turn the lights off for a few hours... then turn on your lights really quickly. The fish will go nuts like they are blinded. Then net away... you only have a few minutes before they're eyes adjust.

you could always tear apart all your rock work, frustrate yourself for hours, only to have 2 damsels still in the tank and a lot of rock work to put back together. jerl77, i think its time to update your tp
