i just found one of these guys, its the only one in the tank. whats a quick easy way to kill this? i don't want to go buy a product because its only one. does lemon juice work? does it have to be a specific type.

can you remove the rock out of the tank to scrape it off?

na its to big. and its only one i was going to possibly try the boiling water trick. and then gluing over its hole? does that work?

kalk made in a paste will work too

I would start a siphon next time you do a water change.
Turn off all flow, and hold the siphon up to the nem and scrape it off.

if i did that wouldn't it just retract once i got close to it? which wouldn't let me scrape it. thats why i was just going to shoot boiling water on it and then glue his whole. you guys don't think that will work? it seems the easiest because there is only one.

You would be scraping the rock it is attached to.

yes PURE lemon juice works for me...turn off powerhead and return pump...shoot it into mouth ( dont touch it but very close) inject it slow...and turn all on after 5 mins or so...do repeat next day in same area..

It works for me with only one shot

couldn't get any lemon juice, but i did the boiling water twice on the three heads i see and glued over the spots they were growing out of. ill see if that works just finished doing the last head. if it doesn't work i will prob just go by aiptasia x
