Baffle placement

The sump will only be holding a skimmer and return pump and maybe a heater. What would be the ideal way to place the baffles so that I get no micro bubbles in the tank? Its a 20long.

I was thinking something like this;

I'd do it like this. and make the center part a fuge!

Hmmm... but if the middle is the low one wouldn't the bubbles just rise and fall and then get into the return pump area? I thought you had to do it low high low....so the high would stop the bubbles. I get the idea tho...and that extra baffle at the end would help too. Thanks.

the best way is to place middle baffle higher..try to do search on rc and u will see..

if you are going to have sand in the fuge, you dont want the last one to be low, the current will blow the sand.

Not sure if I want to have a fuge in there just yet....

oops, i meant you dont want the last one to be high (low opening) - guess it depends which way you look at it.
