My Blueline 70 had a cracked shaft whereupon the impeller sits. Blueline sent me a new casing with shaft, and after a vinegar bath I was able to remove the cracked shaft from the impeller. I inserted the new shaft into the impeller but it does not spin freely, rather there is a lot of friction. The pump is very loud now.
Do you think I need to replace the impeller, or is it a calcium deposit that can be burned away.
