No not new, but they have never been imported in huge numbers. Also I'd guess 90% of them I've seen are really ugly shades of brown with a bit of green.

Pectinia are/were common, old school, box filler type corals typically not as colorful as the ones we see coming in now.

Wow pectinia is nrw to me butt it's quickly on my "must have"list.Very unusual shape and beautiful colors.

I've been seeing a few of the nicer colored Pectinia coming in but that is one of the nicer ones I've seen. They usually come in dark green to poop brown but these new morphs are just awesome.

The space invaders pectinia is probably about the brightest one out there. It grows slow and steady...
