Dead rock in established tank

Is this okay?I added a dead rock that I had stored in a bag-it was live at one time.I'm trying to get it to come back to life its the white rock>

Once you washed it out before you put it into the tank, theres nothing wrong with it. In a few months you shouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Is that an orange nepthea I see in the background? How long have you had that in there?

I'm not sure if its the same family -he is a soft coral.he's an orange carnation tree.I 've had him for a little over a 2 months now.I just got a pink one will try to get pictures later and post them.
