Deltec. From the best to the worst

Anyone that knows me good knows that i have owned just about every deltec product out and always bragged about the best customer service in the world right up there with Tunze. Well here is some advice. Don't ever buy a deltec product because they have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE since they let go of Doug. If you need parts your screwed. I sold a Fr616 to someone and i'm surprised he has not hit me over the head with it yet. He's been extremely patient. I've been on the phone with Phil for over 3 months and all he gives me is promises. If i dont get the piece by the end of the month i will return the money and slam that Fing reactor on the floor.

SO DON"T BUY DELTEC.
Im sure you can tell i'm really pissed right now.

LMAO... Me and Rich always said Deltec products sucked from the cheap acrylic always crazing, down to the stupid pumps that always seized, bad bearings and so on.. Overpriced bubblemaster crap. Calcium reactors that require specific media, dumb feed pumps and can I go on?!?

Sorry to hear about the woes though. Gee I wonder why Doug left/was let go? Was it because they were losing money on replacement parts that Doug felt everyone should get for free due to defective products sold by Deltec??

Lmao ... I waited 9 months to get a replacement pump for my tc-2060 skimmer, cost me an arm and a leg too. The female sales rep told me it has to be ordered and it will be coming from germany.

I have to agree, that the sales dept/service needs help.
Still loving my skimmer though

Actually I've heard similar stories from a retailer, they aren't getting any responses from this company.
