it was a good read but there was no real answer to the question.
I wanted to see people responses with their experiences.
Maybe, because there is none.
You're kidding right?!Many of the posts in that thread are about opinions based on experience.
Maybe, because there is none.
DING DING DING!!!!!
Let me ask you this, which is the best religion? Which is the best food?
There is no answer, nor is their scientific evidence (that I know of and this is widely discussed) providing evidence either way. Most people find a happy medium in the middle somewhere between wet and dry. Your skimmer will also determine how you skim as each skimmer has a different sweet spot.
I didn't mean for it to be as sarcastic as it sounded. What I was trying to say is that skimming in general is like religion. Everyone has their "best skimmer" and "best way" to use that skimmer. You'll find people who skim dry and love it and those that skim wet and love it. Some people even run two skimmers so that one can be wet and one dry. There is no "better".
If you're looking for "most" i think there was a Poll here a year ago asking:
"Do you skim wet or dry"
Now weather or not people understood the question is another thing. If I were you I'd try both for one month and see which works better for your particular application.
hahaha a whole other issue indeed. I'm with you though, I'd be running a skimmer too in your situation. Personally I like it a little wet.
