Does anybody know the real name of this coral? And what kind of coral is it?

aren't they clove polyps?

Looks more like clove but you can't see the skeleton to be positive. Pipe organs have fan like polyps and these are solid though.

They are most similar to Clove & Star Polyps. Seem to be in the family of Pachyclavularia.

That's what I get for clove polyps.

Clove polyps is a generic name encompassing many species. Many common clove polyps seen for sale at LFS haven't been identified beyond "Clavulariids" by scientists.
