The DI resin cartridge is 25% brown right now, when the whole cartridge is brown its time to change it. I filled up 200 gallons of RO/ DI and the DI resin is 25% brown, which means you can pump another 200 gallons safely before you have to change any of the filters. I just figure I clarify that so you dont feel you need to buy these filters in order to run RO/ DI water. Once the DI resin is completely browned out, then you have to buy the replacement filters.
