General questions

Hi, i'm new to this and considering coming to the swap. I hope this is the right area.

1) Is there parking for us. If so is there any charge?

2) I'm not a vendor. But i'm bringing some stuff to sell/trade, am i considered a vendor?

3) How is it set up. Are there tables were i put my stuff. Do i have to bring my own buckets with water?

There is info on parking on the swap thread on the home page..basically street parking.

It's a swap Everyone is eligible to trade & sell. Most folks first post what they are bringing to trade or sell on the swap frag board and they bring it along already bagged for sale in a cooler.

You can sell/trade, but tables are generally for vendors, you can put a stylofoam box on the floor if its similar to last time.

I heard there will be a fragging demo in the swap. Can they frag up my maze brain for me? I don't feel like slicing and dicing.

If you donate a frag or 2 to the auction I'm sure this can be arranged.

Don't count on street parking in Manhattan. I'd do a little research before heading down with the expectation of street parking. I haven't been in the general area of Pace University in years, and things may have changed.

There are two public parking lots near the entrance.

You are not considered a vendor unless you want to rent a table for the event. If you come in you should keep your frags in buckets or coolers. Bring your own water, we will be providing some but it is primarily for filling bags for frags.

The fragging demo table will have a dremel and they will cut up your colony for free if you donate a piece to the auction.

When is the deadline to pay for admission? Can i pay when i go over to the swap? How big is the place?

I would recommend the subway as the best wayto get there.
4/5/6 stops about 2 blocks fom pace. The 1/2/3 or A/E/C are about a 5-10 minute walk from pace.

Well i mean how many people that place can hold(C of O). I'm thinking about using the subway. It seems better to avoid that traffic and all. I don't know yet. Thanks for the advice.
