I think this is a green carpet anemone - not sure. They are pretty unusual I believe...

I dont think they are very uncommon but are not easy to care for. Mine is no longer with me.

Hey clippo, do you have a clipperton angel? I've thought about them but I have no idea how they behave in captivity.

Nah, chances of getting one in the UK are pretty close to zero I believe. Add to that the fact that it would probably cost a 4 figure sum...... no chance! :cry:

I think my best bet would be to try to get to the Island itself and see them in the wild - thats my lifes ambition anyway :lol:

I've seen shots of them in tanks though... apparently they are quite hardy members of the Holacanthus group. Diet, space, tankmates are main concerns, behaviour is typical of the group IIRC.
