I came back from my college for thanksgiving and found my tank infested in hair algae
So does anyone have sea hare or know who has them?
I just want a quick solution of getting rid of them because i have to go back soon so i cannot do anything like testing water and changing everything
Thanks

I was going nutz with hair algae and othere algaes, I first got the mag up! then put a bunch of mexicans in the hair seem to stick less to the rocks after adding mag I got a Seahare It did not go into the dense parts of the algae I pulled alot and thinned it out out alot the Seahare seems to be eating it now and it is on the decline! The hair algae is a PIA and must be attacked from several angles!! good luck!!

One of my blunt end sea hares disappeared :( I am kind of fond of sea hares now they are sure ugly but kinda cool. The blunt ends were much better than the regular sea hares even eating bryopsis. I still have one going strong. Lettuce nudi's aren't very good imo. Of like the 10 or so I've had still only have like 2.
