Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Staten Island and I've been keeping aquariums for about 15 years. This is my first serious attempt at a reef, my last one was half-assed and went downhill fast. I spent the last 2 years learning more, and feel I am ready this time to do it right. My tank is already up and running: 72g bowfront with 80+lbs of rock, 480w of lighting (MH/PC/moonlights) up for about 6 weeks now. I have a firfish goby, a juvenile tank-raised watchman goby and two damsels, along with a bunch of hermits and snails.

Just got my first coral today, a Kenya Tree frag. All my numbers are correct, other than low calcium, but I'll be fixing that soon...

What are your parameters specifically saying they are correct doesn't help us understand your tank much.
