Jeremy, welcome to MR. Great place to learn about the hobby and meet a boatload of great people. As a matter of fact this coming Sunday, 10/10/10 we are having a Frag Swap at Pace University in their downtown campus (under the Bklyn Bridge). Absolutely fantastic place to see tanks set up with corals, inverts, some fish, equipment, cutting edge technology (LED lighting), raffles for drygoods and livestock, auctions, noted speakers, lunch.....and once again, about 300-400 of your closest new friends

Hope to see you there,
Russ

I think I might just attend to see what it is like. I do not have anything to trade but it sounds fun

Thanks russ

It really is the best thing a new hobbyist could possibly do. No need to have anything to trade-- just come and learn, and meet and greet, and get ideas and opinions from the most knowledgeable and dedicated hobbyists in the area. Hope to see you there. Randy

I wouldnt call myself a "noobie", it just has been about 4 years since I had my last reef setup. Had to give it to a friend to take care of while i was in school (he ended up killing it off on me :/) I had some amazing pieces pieces of liverock and ricordia :/
