I just got a used tank and need to clean some of the salt creep on the glass and trim. What should I use for this? Also there was some adhesive tape that left glue on the trim, any suggestions for that? I've heard of using vinagar for this, anyone know of the ratio of water to vinagar? And how can I make the trim look new again.

Thanks for any suggestions.

depends on how much lettuce and tomato your using. JK. 50/50 should be fine but rinse well when done

Some water and vinger with a bit of elbow grease should do the trick. Razor blades for the tough stuff. Kind of like changing the registration on your windshield!

Coralline comes off much easier after soaking in fresh water. Fill the tank w/ water outside, and let soak a day.

You can also use scrubby pads that are glass safe. DONT USE THE GREEN ONES. They scratch. The glass safe are brown I think.

Lastly, vinegar and water are for douching, not sandwiches. :)
