Jaws II..LFS in Elmsford...

Went to Jaws II today and everyone was right there coral tanks are looking pretty good these days and they have alot of softies!! Right down my ally, they also have a good selection of hard corals as well:flirt:....My only gripe is the prices WoWoWo :bigeyes2:....A medium sized piece of spagetti leather for $150, a small thing of rare pink spagetti (which may or may not be bleached) for $90 and i am talking frag sized...what else hairy green mushrooms about 4-5 on a rock for $70....dont think ill be buying many corals there unless they have a ny aquaria going out of buisness sale, (sorry sal no offense) ...:grouphug:

The corals looked pretty good there.
The fish were also healthy & I didn't see dead ones in the tanks.
I didn't ask the prices on much, as me & Dean were window shopping.......but we picked up a nice Alveopora.

If you have cash, I'm sure you can talk down the prices.

Yeah you prob can get those prices down but man they are high....fish do look good though i cant get around that ....funny how the ol man and his buddies smoke in the store while trying to assist you ....:headache:

To bad its the closest reef store around Westchester.....We should look into trying to get one going lol ...I know the old treasure island building on central ave went out of buisness, (i used to work there) that would be a prime location for a place!!!! :Up_to_som

There was a favia in his tank on sunday that I wanted so bad, fathers day wasn't as profitable as I would had hoped. I also wanted to get a few frags of nepthea.

Treasure Island would be a prime spot. Jaws 2 in Elmsford supposed to be putting 1 in 3B hobby shop in White Plains on central, Lou is a nice guy and you can definately talk him down on price. If he quotes you a price on day 1 and you go in the next the price is lower, or if you purchase more then 1 item.

treasure island location would be prime but pretty costly, the rent was too high for them and they were there forever!
Anywhos, lou's clams were pretty pricy as well, I bought one from him, but let me tell you the color is phenomenal. You gotta love his selection.

I work about 1/2 a mile from there. I also got an Alveopora from him as well. He wanted $100 or so for the alveopora, but he gave it to me for $75 cash.
His prices listed are pretty high but he will negotiate on them.

I believe he is opening a FW store down the road in the big shopping center on the other side of street. Where citibank,chinese buffet, etc is.

Cough Cough I work about 5 Mins from there I sometimes go there during lunch to check out what he has and for some second hand smoke, he stuff does look good .

His new showroom/freshwater is now going to be across the street from his store now. I believe it was a siding and window place.

Cigarette smoke was great!! I love the smell the taste havin a nic fit, been a week since I had one I think, kinda blacked that out. Selection was awesome. I put a post in the LFS thread as soon as I got my zoos in that I bought there.
