and next I start on new tank!
pondless waterfall was originally going to be a pond 4' deep 8X12 but I have enough to take care of so this was the alternative. best part is I can turn it on and off so it helps with my electric bill
on with the new tank!

yes pondless means no standing water no fish

the hole is 3' deep about 6X8 there is a sump bucket submerged with a 3' length of PVC pipe with saw cuts to allow water to enter. the hole is filled with river rock pump is in the the sump bucket return is tee off into 3 separate outlets
pretty neat idea the kits were 1300.00 this cost me under 400 with some landscaping.
all the rock stacked for the falls was on my property
all I bought was
liner 125.00
sump 30.00 HD
pump terta at lowes 129.00
yard n half of river rock 70.00
3 days of diggin! LOL

I'm not an electrical engineer Frank. But I do know you'll need to store the photovoltaic power, or electricity, generated from the captured sunlight. That is the single biggest problem with equipment run exclusively from solar power. Nightfall obviously drains the battery, as does every passing cloud. In order to store enough electricity to run even a small pump you'd need a relatively large battery to continually recharge during the good 'collection' times.

A very expensive proposition for such a small demand IMO. Albeit a great idea and one which I hope to become more feasible in the very near future.

the phone thing might be perfect but phones don't draw that much amperage.
the only unwanted traffic I deal with up here is the bears!
