Hello all,
This is my first post, have been lurking for months and learned so much.
So, I recently got a Red Sea Max 130D off a fellow member who updated the lighting to Steve's LEDs in August, the pre-built model. The blue LEDs in the fixture stopped working recently and when I got the tank home the whites never turned on, either. The fans in the fixture went out with the blues. I think I saw the whites flash for a millisecond the other day but could have imagined it  .
Anyway, does this mean I have a short in the wires? Or could it be the controller is bad? I'm assuming this issue is not permanent and can be fixed but I know nothing about electrical equipment so what do you guys suggest I do?

Also, if Steve's LEDs doesn't fix it (currently wrangling with them; they have no warranty) then would someone be willing to take a look or refer me to someone who could help me?
The tank is up and running but I can't put anything in it!
Until I can get some lights going I'll be imagining it's a deep sea tank or some sort of sea cave haha
Thanks very much for your help!

Thanks for the replies.

Member Vio sent me a PM and has offered to take a look!! THANK YOU

I appreciate the suggestions.

Regarding warranty, from Steve's LED website "Due to the nature of installing a retrofit lighting system, taking into account the infinite number of ways it can be installed and also the infinite number of ways it can be installed improperly or accidentally damaged (such as electrostatic discharge, accidental physical damage, water damage, electrical surge), in addition to keeping prices at Steve's LEDs as low as possible, no warranty is offered, expressed or indicated. "

The member I bought the tank from told me upfront before driving over that the blue LEDs were no longer working but the white ones still were. I decided to still check it out and eventually purchase the tank. The white LEDs were working when we broke down the tank and put it in my car. When I popped the hood back on at my place and plugged it in nothing was working. We did some troubleshooting over the phone but it's a no-go. I can tell he feels bad and is still helping me by staying in touch with Steve's LEDs to work out a solution, which I appreciate. I am hoping to get this resolved so I can move my fish and corals over soon.
