i just want see how some poeple run there lights i run mine 1 hour the t5 to wake the tank up the mh kick in for 5 hours and the t5 turn of .. then they come back when the mh shut of for another 2.5 hours
depends on what kind of corals you have, most corals can live on 6-7 hrs of light, if you have sps, crank the MH for 5 hrs a day, turn the t5 on for a few. LPS don't require too much MH. if you leave your light on for over 8 hrs, you'll have some algae problem. Hope this helps you out.
PC's: ON = 9am-12pm/7-9pm OFF = 12-7pm/9pm-9am
MH (2x250W): ON = 12pm OFF = 7pm
LED's (Moonlight): ON = 9pm OFF = 1am (one set remains on all night)
Fuge Light (LED's) Reverse Cycle 9pm-9am
