I was looking at the Sol, I think that we can get away with 1 actually... Even the AI site says 1 will work. It will not be heavy coral, so the corals can go in teh middle of the tank...

trying to keep costs down..

i just picked up wingo's led brick to replace the office diy fixture. haven't gotten around to swap it yet. your buddy can borrow...see if he likes it. it's dimmable and only 2 benjamins brand new.

^Very true. The ATI is an awesome fixture.

Im actually going with a single Sol Blue unit. Ill also buy the 70 degree optics kit for it.

That is what I may recommend for him also. I have teh AI and I really like them...
