I teach Marine Science and Biology in Bellevue Ohio. Land locked for sure, but we still have a good program. My students and I have spent a ton of time building up the marine lab and made some pretty good connections around the country. Our public school can not afford to support us much at all so we mostly rely on the kindest of strangers and fund raisers.

My ell loves lionfish for dinner, he eat about 6 in his lifetime.
Spent over $100 each on them(xl size), no more buying them
has anyone had one that gotten eaten by a ell before or is mine just a pig?
I personally don't care for eels but i read about a lionfish owner that found his lionfish stuck in his eel's throat .Both perished what a pity.

I remember seeing this on TV years ago and they thought they were coming from the ballast water in ships crossing from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
It make no difference how they got to the west they are here now and the prices at the LFS remain the same lol.It could well be a combination of natural and man made events. Here is another site for more information.
