Monster flatworm in Live Rock - How can I kill it

I have identified a nasty, clam and snail murder - it's in a big piece of rock that I removed from the tank.

I'm willing to sacrifice the life (others) on the rock to eradicate this pest - and although I'm soaking it in fresh water, the beast has not emerged.

(yes, I saw it immediately before I pulled the rock - not a chance that it escaped into my display tank)

What can I do to this rock - knowing that it will kill everything - without bleaching the coraline color off of it.....to kill the beast!

all murderous suggestions will be considered! Thank u

+1 someone in BK had like a 3-4" Monster flat worm.


anyways bud. Good luck Hope all goes well and his Gang falls out as well. cause if there is one monster flatworm im sure there is a little squad of them. Keep an eye out for em.

whenever i found one, i found others! just set a bottle trap in the tank for a few weeks to be sure.

Sit it in the freezer, I had a huge polyclad few months ago and that's how I killed it , I sat it in the freezer for 1hr

I had one a few years ago. Hot water (not boiling, but as hot as I could get from the faucet) killed it (or, at least it broke in many pieces and appeared to melt).
