My new (old) nanocube 6 gal.. go LED's??

Hello,

I picked up a used nanocube DX 6 gal. today at an estate sale. Bought it full of old water/ rock/ sand.... cleaned it up a bit as you can see.

I took the hood off, but it has 2 pc bulbs , and I'd like to go LED's, or maybe a PAR 38 type bulb?

Any suggestions on an LED DIY kit that would fit in this hood? Or should I go with an LED bulb on a gooseneck fixture?

I actually jus did a conversion on my 6 gallon Nano cube using the 10 inch true lumen led strips. Minor modification needed.

Thanks for the input. Dubs, figured anything MH will create too much heat and bulbs will have to be changed too often. For LED's maybe the strips are the answer. Also now thinking about a good LED bulb hanging over the tank. Then I have a bunch more decisions to make!

You can always put something together with rapid led or look into nano box mini tide, or a par 38 as you mentioned.

A while ago someone was selling a micmol light. It looked like a cool light.
