My paired clown is in love... with my Blue dot Jawfish

The first member and favorite fish in my tank has an admirer. I purchased a bonded photon clownfish pair a little over a week ago. They spent the first two days exploring the tank together then who I think is the female met my jawfish and has fallen in love. At first they spend half the time together but now she never leaves his cave. I feel really bad for the other clown and the Jawfish sometimes seems irritated. Is it possible she is left him for good or will this infatuation go away and they will pair up again?

ha this is great. I've wanted a the blue dot jaw for a while now, but my tank is stocked. wary to add him to such a full tank without conflict. one can dream though. good luck!

do the clowns host those hammers ? it could be cause the jawfish is to close to their home

Nope. Ignores the green and the gold hammer. A week later and only change is the other clown now hangs a little closer. Even worse the clown now does a little shimmy above the jawfish. Looking to add an anemone.
