Nassarius Snails and Conchs

Are the big white nassarius snails known to eat conchs? They killed and ate 4 conchs within the hour.

The conchs were stressed and already on their way out. Nassarius snails are not predators and will only 'attack' sick and dying animals.

The nassarius snails we know in the hobby (the big white ones) are related to predatory snails that are actually pretty dangerous even to humans. The species we use is more of a scavenger who "facilitates" those organisms already on their way out when they can..... if that helps. They won't take down healthy livestock but they won't wait for something to die to eat it.
