New to saltwater,small white specs on glass

I noticed these small white specs like a grain of sand moving around on my glass is this good or bad.Sorry for the poor pic quality ,i shot it with an Itouch through a small loop.

They zip around pretty quick ,might have come on the live rock i purchased or from the sand that I got from a friend who purchased a tank with fish from craiglist.

They are pods. I also have a lot on my glass. At first I thought it was sand or calcium until I saw them moving around really quickly , those dudes are fast. Then I remembered I put about a thousand pods in my refugium about a month ago

Will they be a problem this is a small 2.5 gallon tank with a yellow clown goby and one blue leg hermit crab , I will be putting them in bigger tank in about a month.

Not at all, they occupy most tanks.. It's like barnacles on a whale. Lol

They're tiny crustaceans (copepods). You can see little antennae in the photo.

Yes I think I can see little antennaes like in your pic when I enlarged the the photo ,thanks I am glad they are nothing to worry about .
