Opinions on lighting

I am helping a friend of mine set up a 90 gallon tank and he eventually wants to grow corals. What lighting would be best yet affordable?

Leds are an investment but cheaper in the long run. I personally like t5s better for color and growth. I think a 4 bulb fixture would be ok if you are just doing basic corals. If I could I would run metal halides but the electric bill is just too much. I am currently running 3 radion g2s over a 120. Hope this helps

I want LED's but don't know which would be the best bang for the buck. I saw some on Amazon but I don't know if I trust them

with led's dong go with cheap trash get something decent, ai, ecotech, kessil if he doesnt want sps,

I know you want LED but coverage is better with t5 with a low budget. Look for a used 6 bulb ati t5 fixture or tek fixture. Probably gonna run $300- $400 with new bulbs. These fixtures are very bright and have grown out many sps tanks.
