wow - I'm so sorry you got stung like that! I HATE getting stung by my corals. You are quite the caring guy to rescue your fish like that.... i'd have probably watched helpless and feeling terrible, since I've already been stung so many times... I am so allergic that I'm in pain for weeks after I get stung. That kind of sting would probably have landed me in the hospital...

Any sight of the clown?

Tahl, I'm not usually sensitive at all to my corals, I touch them once in a while when I put my hands in the tank and nothing ever happens. I've touched my condy before and supposedly that has a pretty powerful sting and nothing, it's just been really sticky and it has left its tentacles on me before but I had no pain. This sting from my Saddleback was like no other but I'm much better now although my hand is a little red and my skin feels kinda tight.

Keith, it didn't go into or through my nail, it just stung the crap outta my hand and I guess it wore away the part of the fingernail that were actually touching its tentacles since I had dots the size of the tentacles.

Unfortunately I still haven't seen the little guy since last night :( he weas trying to host my Gigas up until I went to sleep and I haven't seen him since. He was pretty badly hurt too although he was swimming very well :( It's also worst because I had gotten him with another clarkii and they seemed to be buddies and I wanted both of them to make it into my GBTA but only one did :(
