Anyone ever have or hear of problems with their tanks? I found a new 120 RR that has been obviously sitting for awhile. I know the company is no longer around after being bought out by AGA, but I don't wanna buy something with known problems.

I bought a 75 gal oceanic tank off eBay that was never used. It was sitting in a barn for 5 years and still had the original packing on it. I had that tank set up for 3 years as FW and another 2 years as a reef. I never had any problems with it

They were the egg mcmuffin of tanks no one even came close but it came at a price they were considerably more then other tanks. People always go cheap. Hence the huge success of a crap company like deep blue. They are still highly sort after. Buy with confidence
My whole system is oceanic 150g dt and my module 2 sump and I have no issue at all and If u could get my hands on a tech series 120 in mint condition I would possible down grade to that tank thank one of my all time fav tanks

Well, rest assured, they have a great reputation. Definitely do a leak test beforehand.
i have a 175 bow front rr up and running for 3 years now with no issues, great tanks and i believe they offer a lifetime warranty! my buddies all have biocubes and any time they have an issue they call up and get it warrantied. oceanic has great customer service and backs their products!
Yea, I gave the guy a deposit on the tank today, but told him before I take it I want to do a leak test on it, make sure there are no problems.

My 95 wave tank is beautiful just hard to aquascape. No leaks or anything. They made beautiful tanks.

When I started the reefing hobby 10 years ago, Oceanic was already owned by AGA, so things like the Tech series, was only created a few years ago. :scratchch
Secound on the deep blue crap, 1 tank 90g lots of air bubble in the silicone. 2 tank 90g 3in of silicone was missing from the from and back panels. Check those tank before you take the home..
