RBTA acclimating?

I recently attained an rbta from a local reefer and after acclimating it (first 2 pics) it seemed ok. however later that evening when I came home I found it wandering around the tank and inflated. I have read and researched numerous articles on rbta's before and after getting it and the general opinion seems to be that it is acclimating, but I'm just worried.
Does anyone have any input on the situation.

Just give it some time, it`s trying to find a comfortable spot....

They do all kinds of weird stuff when they're acclimating. I was sure mine was going to die the first week. They just take a while.

and what light do you have it under ?

the powerhead is the new koralia nano pump, very small footprint with only 200gph.
the tank is a biocube 8 which my son won at last years macna w/ 2 power compact florescent bulbs 36watts.

I transferred water & live rock from my 120g tank to the nano. I've been doing 1g water changes.

you might not have enough light to sustain that anenome. they will move till they find a happy place also

i think the lighting is too low. as a temporary solution place it high in the tank until you get better lighting

Alex, try to setup the rock pile to make a ledge or nook where the anemone can tuck its foot under. When they find a secure place they usually stay put. Also try to get it closer to the light. BTW that is a nice specimen, very colorful.

you need a rock with a hole in the middle they love to base themselves in a secure location. That way when they want they could hide in the rock. Good luck

The rock in the tank has a nice size whole on it which should make a nice home. as for the lighting, I have positioned the rock so that the RBTA can get up higher if need be.

Now if I can only find a nice pair of true percs for the RBTA. Reef mania where did you get yours from?
anyone else have any other locations to suggest?
