RO/DI Sediment Filters

Ordered and received new sediment filters for my BRS RO/DI filter and was going to change out the sediment filter when it dawned on me that I can give it a good rinse and reuse it. I blasted the filter and most of the discoloration came out, there's still a hint of brown in the filter. Any thoughts on me reusing it to extend the life a bit? Do I just dispose of the old one in the trash when I'm done?

I would just dump it , by keeping your sediment filter clean it seems like the membrane lasts longer

It's a $5 sediment filter that needs changing once every few months. It extends the life of your membrane. Why question it!
