Can I use these two rocks along with LRs for a reef tank? They were used to be in my fresh water tank.

The rocks were never exposed to copper.

Yeah, and they're basically going to have to cure in saltwater. You may experience an ammonia/nitrogen spike if you put 'em right in your tank, depending on how big the tank is.

i would cycle them in a 5 gallon bucket for a few days then add to my tank

I noticed there are small amount of very fine dust on my fingers after I rubbered the rock when it is dry. Is it ok to use the rock still?

yea soak in a bucket of saltwater 4 a few days

soak it in a bucket with a power head in it pointing at the rocks so it blows off any residue and dirt settlement. u should be fine, seed it with a piece of lr, and cycle
