I was at a store in NJ yesterday and the owner told me his tanks were posion by someone and at least 100 fishes were dead within hours.
I feel so bad for the owner.

He told me that it happened last year too and found some cosmetic makeup in the sump.

Does he have cameras inside his store so he can catch the jackass poisoning his tanks?

The owner told me he's going to install some cameras in the store. It's
intentional for sure. The tanks is set up in columns with 2 tanks on top and sump at the bottom. 5 columns was affected where is near the entrance. All the tanks inside including the display tank are fine.
I don't want to name the store but it's in central jersey.

These are the situations that the saying misery needs company comes into play. Thats jacked up- I hope he catches them- not likely but you never know maybe theyll do it to another store and that store will catch them in the act and this guy will get word

I know of a person that own a pet shop, he sells dogs and fish.About 15 years ago the store was burnt to the ground .He made a come back though,i hope this guy has insurance.

Is it possible for stores to get insurance for livestock? If it is, do stores even obtain it, or is it just to costly?
