I have my tank in my room and I have had one in my room for the last 5 years but its annoying some nights!! I just want silence I know it will be next to impossible . I have a Perfecto 90Gal.RR corner overflow and was wondering if I bought a new drainpipe setup would it quite it such as a Durso or a Mega Flow ?Those are the only 2 I know of as of now just looking for suggestions or answers on what will shut this thing up a little!!Thanks Sal

looks like you can just modify the durso you have now...just need a tee and some pvc pipe to connect it ...following the design on the link tim posted...

all i have on mine and have used this a few times is i tookk reg pvc pipe drilled a ton of holes in it starting at the bottom going up, put a cap on top of it drilled a hole and inserted a airline, mines pretty quiet and its right next to me bedroom door
