would like to know what's everyone's sump turnover rate is at? I just measure my return pump and flow into my sump. it's about 3x sump and in-tank is around 25x. i probably need to increase the sump rate a bit more

i have about 800gph on my 200gal (4x)
my sump recycles via a refugium/dsb so figure everything runs through my sump 2x on avg.
in tank i have 2 vortech mp40w for flow

I have a Rio 32 Hyperflow Return which goes straight into the return pipes (1900gph), an independent return for chiller that runs with a mag 2 (250gph) and a Quiet One 4000HH (980gph) that runs through a FB-600 Fluidized Bed, a double chemical reactor AF93-19 and a single 8 watt UV sterilizer QL-8. The hyperflown is straight so that only loses tops 300gph so 1600gph, the mag probably drops to 150gph, and the quiet one should drop around 600gph since it's the HH model. Total of 2350gph which is roughly 31 times of turnover on my 75g tank. That's probably too much of a sump to tank turnover but it's working well for me right now. In the tank I only have 2 Koralia 1s since I have 2 independent returns supplementing the already built-in return that comes with a standard RR tank

I am currently running at about 1500-1800 gph after head through 30 gallon sump w/ 125 display (50-60 x/ph). I am toning it down with new pump to around 900 gph, again after head, so about 30x/ph. To much noise, microbubbles, and heat w/ big pump. I am just going to use the power heads for the primary flow.
