update on 45 gal mixed reef

I've been real busy with work so its been a while since I've posted, but I've been putting a lot of time in with the tank and thought id share some pics. Although I was against it originally i realized with a 45 a full rock wall was the only to go. I did make at effort to make it as three dimensional as possible, and i think it came out well.

I do not have a sump or fuge on the tank so i incorporated some chaeto, halimeda, and a coral safe calurpa to the bottom of the tank. As a result i have a flurishing population of copepods, amphipods, and even mysid shrimp!!!

hehe yeah man im getting there... need to scrape up a couple hundred and add a fuge so i can move all that greenery downstairs... Lost my damn clowns this morning. Theyve been sick since i got them a few months ago and the ebb and flood of their illness finally got to be too much for them. It sucks but i've lost fish before and although i sincerely hope otherwise i doubt they will be the last.

duncans is doing great though and my xenia are acting a little less wierd so thats something lol.
