The reefing world was fine prior to them... I think that if you don't use any of those modes they offer on the units you will still be fine and have a lot more $$$ still in your wallet.

i use 3 pumps on timers and from what i see i get close to the same random flow as a vortech, ofcourse not as pretty or as versatile but my sps love it and it was alot cheaper then a vortech

i must say the mp10 is worth it WHEN it works. ive been unlucky enough to have bought one and it was working beautifully then one morning i wake up to a sound of a motorcycle humming shound from it. i did the trouble shoot online and then called them. a few days later i received a new one. upon receiving a new one i set it up went to the movies came back and it not working. i have a red & green light blinking. so again i did the trouble shoot and nothing seemed to work. so i took the motor from the 1st one and used it with the new propeller and its working nicely now. so i have to call ecotech monday and tell them what i did. 1st propeller no good 2nd motor no good. flip flopped and everything works. i must say their customer service is VERY good but it seems that the mp10 is in such a high demand that they may be making them too fast and not testing them correctly or at all. would i still buy the mp10? hell yes cus the modes are awesome and u can dial it down A LOT.

You won't regret it. I still have my 2 original mp10's that are 3 years old now and just put one of the 10WES units on my RSM.

I've had WAY more great luck eith mine than bad.

yes i was thinking the same i just wanted to know if i was correct or not since i since a video on youtube with a 10G and mp10 and the water flow on the 10G was crazy man.

lol he had it full blast. great thing about it is you can program it to dial down up to 50% at night save electricity for 10hrs then set itself to run at regular programmed power
