Hello all! First off, thank you Chief and Josh for keeping things civil and stopping any potentially harmful rumors. You guys have always been very fair and honest!
I know I abruptly disappeared from the forum, I just wanted to let everyone know that it is personal and nothing to do with business.
My father is very ill and it was a simple decision by me to take an indefinite hiatus from the industry. I haven't found the time to really focus on Aloha Tropics and a business that doesn't have 100% put into it should not be running in fairness to customers and the MR community.
I do intend on returning, its just impossible for me to know exactly when in my current situation. In regards to the complicated Pacific Sun situation, everything mentioned above is pretty accurate. I did go separate ways with the project a long time ago but I do continue to help in any way I could with issues stemming from the units.
I am an enthusiastic hobbyist myself so you will all see me still poking around MR, maybe selling a frag or two out of my tanks ;p Also, feel free to PM me if anyone needs anything or help with anything. I will try to accomodate as best as I can!
Thanks MR for the opportunity to contribute to the Reefing community! When things clear up in my personal life, I will return to the industry. Until then, Happy Reefing!
