what to put under tank

I am still Planning my 210 aga
it will be on top of metal stand
should i put a piece of 1/2 inch plywood under the tank or the foam stuff from home depot? or both
Im just not sure if it is better to be rigid under the tank or soft

any advice would help

The stand is what should be sturdy.

A sheet of 1/2" plywood underneath a sheet of 1/2" homasote.
