What type of Snail is this ?

I found this snail in my sump when I was doing some maintenance. I took it out and put it in a cup with some sand and water until I figure out if it's good or bad. It moves just like a snail but lifts itself off the surface to look around like a rabbit.....weird....Anyone have an idea ?

I have one of those guys in my tank, I only see it about once every 2 weeks or so.

Threw it back in the sump when I got home and noticed a second one....Thanks Everyone.
